My goodness, time has gotten away from me. I haven't posted for over a month and I have no specific picture to share. I will start getting in the swing of things again. Winter was an unusual one and yet kind of a rut with nothing to exciting to share. I guess I did take a picture of David painting the stairway hall. It needed it badly and he did a great job. It took me another week to get around to finishing the job by painting the upstairs hallway, which also badly needed it. I've lived/been around this house 15 years and I don't ever recall painting it so I rest my case.
April 1 we sponsored a country dance at the church. It turned out to be a wonderful time. Six couples were in attendance and others indicated they wanted to come but couldn't that night. This all came about when we went dancing at the Croatian Hall the week before with another couple and we decided we should hold another dance at the church. We did this a few years back. There was only one week's notice so six couples was a good turn out. All wanted to do it again so I'm sure we will.
As spring is in the air (more like summer today with highs in the upper 70s) we will start doing more things and have more to report.
Mike and Leah had a fire in a tree at the end of their driveway last night. They never would have guessed it was hollow on the inside. The took the tree down this afternoon and luckily it didn't hit the power line when they did that.
This winter I've been on an NCIS marathon thanks to Netflix. It's a tv series I didn't watch during primetime so now I'm trying to catch up. I'm on season 6 of
8. I have a true addiction to that show. I've decided for Christmas I want one of Abby's farting hippos. Now I'll see who reads this first and comments on that!!
I have also this weekend enjoyed watching the eagle's nest on web cam from Decorah, Iowa. What an interesting site. Technology can be a wonderful thing.
