Special Days

This weekend we finally got around to celebrating special June days. Mary Ellen's
40th birthday and Father's Day. She may be old but her lung capacity allowed her to blow out all forty candles in one quick breath. We were all impressed ! ! ! But her mind is starting to go...when setting up our pool from last year, she realized 1/4 of the way full it was inside out. The lawn was well watered after discovering that mistake. Jim was almost brought to tears over his Father's Day present, the Iowa State Patio Umbrella. For people who think we have too much ISU paraphernalia we say NEVER ! ! The cool front came through and we enjoyed a family weekend outside without sweating to death with grilling, eating, driving tractors and sitting around a campfire. Life was good!
