It was a busy weekend at the Walker Compound. Mary Ellen and Mallory were down for a bridal shower for Beth. I went to a baby shower for Leah. Saturday night David, Alicia, Mallory and I went miniature golfing. That was a lot of fun. Sunday Alicia, Jim and I took a tour of the new Southeast Polk High School. That took us 2 hours. What a place! ! ! Those students don't know how lucky they are. I'm sure the taxpayers do :)
This week brings parent-teacher's conference for me. That means working until 8:00 Tuesday and Thursday night but on the up-side, I don't have to work Friday, so looking forward to a 3 day weekend and a trip to K.C. to watch the ISU / Kansas State game. Hope everyone is enjoying the change in the weather. It is time to take the air conditioner out of the bedroom window. BRRRRRRRR!
