Went to a roadside stand and bought bing cherries. We traveled north out of Greeley and found onions (the ones Jim wanted to buy haven't been harvested yet, cabbage, table beets and we think sweet beets. Some farmer checking his irrigated corn told his the sweet beets were a mile north. Jim pulled one from the ground and kind of thought it looked like a parsnip so he left the tops in the field and brought it back to the hotel room to wash and "try". We haven't done that yet. Car thermometer said 102 and even without the humidity its hot and we are once again relalxing and considering a movie tonight.
