Saturday, July 17 Greeley CO

I should have Jim type today's entry since this was his destination spot. He told the lady at the motel when checking in that we were staying here because of the feed lots, I think she thought he was nuts. She just doesn't understand the farm boy, veterinarian in him. He's in aggie heaven. I remember as a kid driving to Colorado and all the Monfort semis on the road and then driving past the Monfort feedlot. Today it is called JBS Five Rivers. The picture is of a huge dairy farm we went by. We are kicking back at the hotel right now. Just saw on the internet home is 92 with a heat index of 107. Here in CO we are having reverse index, 96 feels like 92 and without the humidity it is very nice/tolerable. We are going to a farmer's market later (Jim is looking for onions) since ours at home are pitiful because of all the rain.
